Brianne Heimbuch
LCSW

I am so glad you are here and that you are searching for the right therapy fit as you seek support. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-43446) in the State of Idaho. I obtained my Bachelors in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University in 2008 and my Masters in Social Work from University of Alaska-Anchorage in 2011. Both universities are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. I have a diverse background working within adolescent treatment facilities, crisis intervention roles, medical social work within hospital, home health, and hospice settings as well as work with chronic disease, dementia, grief and loss, and caregiver support. I believe in hope, and that hope is resilient. It is this resiliency, engagement, forward-focused attitude that inspire me about the clients I work with. In addition to providing solution-focused therapy and grief counseling, I currently serve as a contracted Social Worker with the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and has since 2019.

I work from a person in environment perspective which views the individual as a whole person as well as part of multiple systems (family, culture, society, etc.). I am a strengths-based, solution-focused therapist who integrates various treatment approaches and tools in order to partner with my clients in achieving change and increasing wellbeing. I offer compassionate grief therapy and support that allows a safe space for you to process loss. I have a Christian worldview and can offer faith-based counseling as requested.  Every person and situation is unique, therefore I work collaboratively with clients to create goals that are tailored to the individual. You are the expert in your experience, I serve alongside as a guide, sometimes challenging routes you are exploring, to assist you in navigating your path towards solutions you want to achieve.
